Picasso Portraits at National Portraits Gallery in Westminster

'Picasso Portraits' at the National Portrait Gallery is a major exhibition of over 80 works by this illustrious artist and focuses primarily on his portrayal of family, friends and lovers. This vast display showcases the astonishing variety and innovation in his art, with works from all periods of his life on display; the realist paintings of his youth to his later ultra-spontaneous canvases. Many of the works on display are from private collections - of which few have ever been shown in the UK before.

This exhibition is suited to those aged 7+ and is part of the Southbank Centre’s 'Nordic Matters' year long exploration of Nordic art and culture.

Gavin Turk Exhibition at Newport Street Gallery in Vauxhall

Newport Street Gallery's current exhibition 'Gavin Turk: Who What When Where How and Why' is the first major solo exhibition of work by Gavin Turk, since he exploded onto the art scene in the early 1990's. The exhibition showcases over 70 works that span 26 years of his career, most of which explore notions such as value, identity and authorship.
