A property board message that’s the antidote to board boredom
At Daniel Cobb we are proud to be known as innovators. Following a Gold award for our website a few years ago, we have recently powered ahead with substantial changes to our property board messages.
Managing Director George Cobb says of the idea: “It’s fresh, innovative and is quite unlike anything that’s been done before.” So what is the concept behind this ambitious marketing campaign?
Boards that speak your language
Instead of following the industry norm with boards that simply state “For Sale” (or “Sold”) and “To Let” (or “Let”), our new boards take a fresh approach in terms of their design and language. After much thought, we took the decision to strip away the standard visual clues and wording associated with traditional sale and let board design. Instead, we have combined a clean, impactful layout with persuasive messaging that reflects the way people really talk.
So eager homebuyers or renters keeping an eye out for their next new home will encounter phrases such as “Let’s do this”, “I got let” or “Your next home?”
Other messages include:
- I’m yours
- This is the one
- Buy me quick
- Let’s get going
- let the good times roll
- Just right
- Own it
- Rent me quick
- One Happy home
- I got owned
- We’ve got more
- Let there be love
- Another one Let
George Cobb believes that these property idea boards offer a new way to engage with the audience. He says: “We’re responsible for homeowners’ most valuable asset … [so] we need a marketing strategy which connects with its target audience at every touchpoint.”
An estate agency with big plans
As an independent, family-run business with branches in Westminster, London Bridge and Kennington, we are constantly looking for better ways to serve our customers. This includes the launch of In House, a property repair and maintenance service for householders looking for reputable tradespeople.
We have also recently opened an office in Battersea and Clapham. As part of the launch programme for our new branch we are proud to have raised a fabulous £2,200 for Clapham’s Royal Trinity Hospice.
The latest board refresh is just one part of an ongoing review of all the agency’s property marketing messages. After working for major brands like Nestlé and Coca-Cola, Managing Director George Cobb has a strong track record in marketing. He has been working closely with creative agency Starberry to develop the latest campaign, and is very happy with the feedback he has already received from clients.
If you are thinking of selling or letting your property and you’re tired of the traditional approach, why not get in touch with us? We promised to banish board boredom forever!
